Little Buffs Daycare passed the final inspection today! We will open up Monday, Oct. 14. We are so excited to start having kids! Don't forget, Thursday, Oct. 10 4:30-6:30 is open house. Come by and see the transformation from old bus barn to an amazing daycare center!

Parents/Guardians - Food Service accounts will be rolled-over today. Meaning if you had previously qualified for Free or Reduced meals, but do not have a current application on file as of 9/27/24, your account will return to a Paid status. Applications are available on the PV362 Website/Food Service page, or through the building secretary, or by contacting the District Office.

Dear Parker Elementary Parents,
Trash bag pick up dates are Monday, September 30 and Tuesday, October 1st from 3:30pm-5:30pm at the school. Thank you for supporting our school!

***LES Families*** Come and join us for our Family Math and Reading night on Monday, October 7th from 5:30-7:00.... Math/Reading games and activities will be set up for all ages to enjoy. Swing by our informational table and visit our fantastic Math and Reading Specialists for ideas and information on the importance of evening skills practice. Snacks will be provided. We hope to see you all there.


PVMS and PVHS Students will have a guest speaker on September 17th at 2pm, in the PAC. This opportunity is provided by the Linn County Health Department. There will be a special presentation of the same nature in the evening for families and community members at 6pm in the PAC, as well.

Becky Savage is a devoted mother, acclaimed author, and dynamic motivational speaker who founded the 525 Foundation in 2017 with a deeply personal mission. As a registered nurse with a master's degree in education and a certified prevention specialist, Becky transformed her grief into a powerful force for change after the heartbreaking loss of her two sons, Nick and Jack, to prescription medication misuse. She is dedicated to preventing similar tragedies by raising awareness and educating youth, parents, and communities about the risks of misusing prescription drugs, alcohol and other illicit substance. She will be speaking to our 6-12th grade students on 9/17/24 at 2pm. There will also be a community event at 6pm for parents and citizens to hear her presentation.



USD 362 is Hiring!


Thank You to everyone who attended our "Grand" Breakfast at LES. The Kitchen Staff served around 193 "Grands" and 151 students. The LES Staff loves seeing all the special people in our student's lives. It takes a village and we are BLESSED to have such an amazing one.

Dear Parents,
This is just a quick reminder about our "Reading Night" at Parker Elementary this Thursday evening, September 12th from 5:30pm to 7pm. Parents are invited to have a delicious snack from our kitchen from 5:30 - 6pm and then join our teaching staff to learn a few techniques for helping your students with their schoolwork. We hope to see you there!

The RNR Hearing will continue on September 17 at 6:30. The Budget Hearing will follow that starting no earlier than 6:45. Following the hearings, the regularly scheduled board meeting will be held starting no earlier than 7:00pm. The hearings and board meeting will be held in the board room at the District Offices.

USD 362 Prairie View was awarded $5,000 toward construction costs at the district’s
new daycare center. from Heartland Rural Electric Cooperative’s Concern for Community grant program. . The district will receive an additional matching award of $5,000 through CoBank’s Sharing Success program, making for a total donation of $10,000.

LES Families and Friends SAVE THE DATE.... Our Grandparent/ Grand Breakfast will take place the morning of Wednesday, September 11th.... Doors will open at 7:35... Signup forms will be sent home with students on Monday, August 26th. We recommend tickets be purchased in advance to determine how much food to prepare. Information about how to purchase tickets will be included with the signup forms sent home on 8/26/24. We look forward to seeing all of our "Grand" people!


Our RNR intent to exceed hearing and our budget hearing is Aug. 20. The RNR hearing is at 6:30 and the budget hearing is at 6:45 with the regularly schedule board meeting to follow at 7:00. The meetings are located in the board room of District Office.
