Prairie View Middle School is proud to announce that we have received the second annual Governor’s Achievement Award. This award honors top performing schools in the state on the 2007 state assessments.
In order to receive this award, the PVMS achieved the Standard of Excellence in both reading and mathematics for 2007, made AYP in both reading and mathematics, and was among the top 5% of Kansas middle schools in both reading and mathematics on the state assessments. Only 12 middle schools in the state qualified for this award.
This is an outstanding achievement for our students, staff, and community. It could not be accomplished without the hard work of those that touch the lives of our students each and every day.
